Last Mile Delivery in Kansas City for Designers and Retailers

Wrapped transport, protected floors, room by room placement, full assembly, and every scrap of packaging hauled away.

The Delivery Your Client Actually Sees

You spent months sourcing the pieces. Your client has been waiting since the contract was signed. Then a driver with no stake in your business backs into the driveway, sets a crate on the porch, hands over a clipboard, and leaves. Whatever happens next is your problem.

Pantheon Moving provides last mile delivery in Kansas City for interior designers, home stagers, furniture and appliance retailers, and commercial buyers who cannot afford that version of delivery day. Our crew wraps every piece, protects the property before anything comes through the door, places each item exactly where you direct, assembles what needs assembling, and leaves with all the cardboard.

We are a locally owned, family operated company. Every mover on your client property is a full time, background checked Pantheon employee. We do not subcontract deliveries and we do not use brokers, which means the person handling the final mile answers to us and we answer to you.

What Our Final Mile Delivery Covers

Wrapped Transport

Every item is wrapped in thick moving blankets and stretch wrap before it goes on the truck. Fragile pieces get individual attention, correct box orientation, and padding at the contact points that actually take the load.

Property Protection Before Anything Comes Inside

Before we carry a single piece across the threshold, we lay down professional floor runners and adhesive carpet film, then pad door jambs, corners, and walls along the whole delivery path. Original hardwood, refinished stairs, and freshly painted corners get treated as though we will be paying for them.

Room by Room Placement

We do not do curbside or threshold drops. Your crew leader takes direction from you or your on site representative and puts each piece in the room and the position you want it, the first time.

Assembly and Installation

Flat pack furniture assembly, appliance placement, and fitness equipment setup are all part of the service. Hardware is tracked through the process so nothing goes missing between the box and the finished piece.

Debris Removal

Cardboard, bubble wrap, foam, crates, and packing material leave with us. The space is photo ready when we pull out, not after somebody spends an hour breaking down boxes.

Heavy and Specialty Pieces

If the delivery includes a safe, a piano, a pool table, or a hot tub, our crews carry the equipment for it: heavy duty dollies, stair climbing gear, piano boards, and specialized sliders. Those items get moved properly rather than improvised.

Built Around How Design and Retail Projects Actually Run

Most last mile delivery in Kansas City is scheduled around the carrier. Ours is scheduled around your install date. We hold a delivery window, confirm it ahead of time, and show up inside it, because a designer coordinating trades, a stager working against a listing date, and a retailer who promised a customer a Saturday morning all need a time that holds.

Pairing delivery with our commercial receiving service means one crew handles the piece from the moment it arrives in Kansas City to the moment it is in position. Nothing changes hands, and there is nobody to point at if something goes wrong. We deliver across the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line, including Overland Park, Leawood, Prairie Village, Olathe, Independence, and Liberty.

Frequently Asked Questions

Standard freight ends at the curb or the threshold. Last mile delivery brings the item into the space, places it in the correct room, assembles it if needed, and removes the packaging. The freight carrier hands you a box. We hand you a finished room.

Yes. We partner with Kansas City interior designers, home stagers, and retailers as their standing delivery and installation crew. Ongoing accounts get priority scheduling and simplified billing. Call us to set one up.

Yes. Stair deliveries are a standard part of the service. Let us know the access conditions when you book, including stair count, turns, doorway widths, and parking, so we can size the crew correctly.

We deliver, position, and set appliances in place, but we do not perform plumbing, gas, or electrical connections. Those require a licensed trade. We position the unit so your installer can finish the hookup without moving it again.

Yes. Our Kansas City warehouse handles receiving and storage, so pieces can arrive from your vendors well ahead of schedule and sit safely until you are ready. Most clients book receiving and delivery together.

We carry cargo and liability insurance and we operate under USDOT #4086499 and MC #1555799. If we damage something, we handle it directly. Because items are inspected at receiving, we can tell the difference between transit damage from the manufacturer and anything that happened on our watch.
